The photographer

A Romanian
in Denmark's forgotten corner

Most people pass through Djursland without stopping. I moved here and decided to look closer — one photograph every day, for an entire year. What started as a discipline became something else. The place got under my skin.

The work is quiet and specific to this place. Cliffs crumbling into the Kattegat for ten thousand years. Harbours locked in January ice. Aurora that had no business appearing over Denmark.

This project began January 12, 2026. One frame every single day — no exceptions for weather, for tiredness, for the days when nothing seemed worth shooting. Those ended up mattering most.
